Swimming

Korcula has various beautiful beaches all over the island. There are not only pebble beaches with crystal clear water but also secluded bays and lovely sandy beaches that wait to be explored by you. If you want to go for a spontaneous refreshing swim in the ocean, just go down the stairs to the sea. There you will find a small public concrete bathing spot.

Culture & Nature

Besides its rich historical heritage, Korcula island posesses a unique and very diverse landscape. Here are some interesting attractions:

• Korcula Old Town is often referred to as "Little Dubrovnik". It is an absolute must-see! Without any doubt, you will be impressed by its medieval streets, its beautiful squares and and its imposing churches. Besides, it is claimed that Korcula is the home town of the famous explorer Marco Polo.

• The Moreska sword dance has a long tradition and features a battle between a white and a black king. It is performed by local people and usually takes place twice a week during the summer season in the old town of Korcula. It is definitly worth a visit!

• The charming and idyllic village Smovica is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Go there and try its famous and excellent wines Posip and Rukatac!

• Cape Martina Bok is perfect for undertaking exhilarating nature walks and discovering idyllic and picturesque bays.

• Hum Hill (37 min) is a nice place for hiking and savouring the beautiful nature of Korcula. You will be fascinated by its breath-taking views!

Activies

• We think that snorkelling and scuba diving are among the most exhilarating experiences you can gather during a holiday. Especially here in Korcula, where the water is crystal clear, they feature a chance that you shouldn't miss out on. If you want professional help, go to the Priscapac Diving Center, which is only 4 min away.

• What about a little adventure? We also wholeheartedly recommend hiring a boat to reach beaches comfortably and to discover hidden and lovely bays yourself. The nearest rent a boat company – Lido Rent – is only a few minutes away. However, as there usually is a high demand for the boats, it is recommendable to book them a few days in advance. Besides, it is possible to berth your boat directly at our apartments as there is a small public sea access down the stairs to the ocean.

• Apart from that, especially in spring and autumn you can also go on a hiking or cycling tour to explore the delightful Korcula island and its landscape.

• And, last but not least, a very special tip for you: What about cooking together with your friends and family and enjoying a delicious dinner on our terrace while savouring the last rays of the sun and admiring an amazing sunset?
